Stephen Carey is the founding pastor of Main Street Mission and The Poor Peoples Church, a non-denominational, inner-city ministry serving disenfranchised communities in New Hampshire.
He is also active in recovery and is the author of Starting Over, a recovery curriculum that seeks to redefine our understanding of recovery.
Steve’s writing, both spiritual and secular, is featured at Ornan’s Threshing Floor, a collection of reflections and sermon excerpts.
Steve and his wife Carol, married for over 40 years, are the proud parents of three boys. They live in southern New Hampshire with their springer spaniel, Oreo. Steve enjoys writing, fly fishing, and woodworking.
