Author. Coach. Wine Educator. Creative.
I’m a writer who keeps chasing the intersection of rest, beauty, justice, and joy, and a teacher who still believes good questions can change a life. I serve as a teacher, where conversations about meaning, faith, and the common good unfold in classrooms, chapels, vineyards, and long walks across campus.
Along the way I’ve met amazing people who have shaped my thinking and inspired me by their stories of service and sacrifice. I’ve helped start global justice movements, and fallen in love with the slow wisdom of history—especially the stories carried in wine, place, and people. My work now lives at the crossroads of spiritual formation, cultural engagement, and the search for a more whole and well-rested life.
When I’m not speaking, you’ll likely find me somewhere in the Willamette Valley with my family, guiding a wine history tour, sketching ideas for the next book, or traveling in search of the kinds of beauty and truth that are meant to be brought home and shared.
