“Let us be those creative dissenters who will call our beloved nation to a higher destiny, to a new plateau of compassion, to a more noble expression of humanness.”
– Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?
On this second and final evening of the Red Letter Revival – Philadelphia, believers will gather to breathe new life into Rev. Dr. King’s “revolution of values”: casting an alternative vision for the future where Christians can clearly see the synergy between faith and justice and understand how to work with churches, organizations, and activists working to realize this justice – right here and right now.
Inspired by the grace and wisdom of faithful speakers, activists, and artists, we will collectively respond to King’s call to be creative dissenters and merge the resources, vision, and expertise of dozens of organizations and hundreds of leaders, bending our collective path closer towards the world God intended for God’s creation.
