I am a documentarian and digital media specialist with a background in education, theater and community development. I specialize in creating community arts and cultural development projects based on personal narratives and oral histories. I’ve worked with all kinds of population groups to facilitate a process where people tell their own story in a creative way. A graduate of the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, I have an extensive background in oral history and digital media, with expertise in theater, video, and production. As an educator I have taught from the elementary school to university level, empowering students to tap into their innate creativity. I am a strong proponent of popular education and love teaching workshops to people of all ages.
