Rev. Dr. Kevin Riggs (Pastor Kevin) has been the Senior Pastor of Franklin Community Church for more than thirty-five years. He is also the founder and Executive Director of   Franklin Community Development and Williamson County Homeless Alliance. All three organizations are located in Franklin, TN.

Pastor Kevin believes one of the primary tasks of a pastor is to be the “conscience of the community.” He is extremely active in the community and is respected as an advocate for the poor and the marginalized. In addition to pastoring, he taught Sociology for fourteen years at Nashville State Community College. Presently he is an adjunct professor at Rockbridge Seminary and Williamson College. Pastor Kevin has written four books, Failing Like Jesus, Evangelism for the 21st Century, Church Health, and Today! The Best Day of My Life, which he co-wrote with his good friend, Rev. Kevin Burns, who is an inmate on Tennessee’s death row. Additionally, Pastor Kevin has an active ministry in Honduras where he trains pastors and visits prisons.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Misty. Pastor Kevin is also an avid scuba diver. He and his wife live in Franklin, TN.
