My name is Catharine Grainge. I am the director of advocacy at Jericho Road Community Health Center where almost 50% of our patients prefer to be cared for in a language other than English, almost 75% of our patients are on Medicaid, and we run one of the largest asylum-seeker homeless shelters in the country. We also have three clinics in Sierra Leone, one in the Congo, and one in Nepal where we are working toward global health equity. Our name comes from the story of the Good Samaritan, which took place on the road to Jericho. We are constantly trying to do better at loving our neighbors. Check us out at jrchc.org or jerichoroadglobal.org.
