Lee at 615-741-2001 with the following message: \n“Hi. My name is [your name]. I am calling to ask that Gov. Lee follows the teachings of his faith and intervenes to stop the execution of Byron Black scheduled for August 5\, 2025. Thank you.” \n\nPlease sign the petition asking Governor Lee to do everything within his power to stop this execution\, including issuing a stay\, and seeking a path to clemency in the case.

We heard incredible stories of courage and the real consequences of refusing to participate in violence. Our guests challenged us all to ask the question\, “What does courage look like for me?” \nWe heard from Itamar Greenberg who spent 197 days in prison for refusal to serve in the IDF\, Sofia Orr who spent 85 days in prison for refusal to serve\, and from an Israeli who will be refusing in October. We also heard from American Conscientious Objector Diana Oestreich\, Iraq war veteran and Peacemaker\, and learned about the history of conscientious objection through both a Christian and Jewish lens from RLC’s Shane Claiborne and FOR’s Ariel Gold. \n\n📺 Watch the Full Event Recording\nMissed the live event?
