Moral Mondays in DC is a recurring, spirit-led series of nonviolent actions confronting the immoral federal budget. These budgets are not mere numbers; they are moral documents. They reveal what our nation values—and whom it is willing to sacrifice. On June 30, 2025, we continue taking a stand against an immoral budget that hurts and harms people.
Clergy and people of conscience will gather at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 301 A Street SE, beginning at 9:00 a.m. for a moral overview and grounding, and at 10:45 a.m. to prepare and march to the Supreme Court for a public moral witness and moral action at 11:00 a.m. This sacred action is a bold response to an immoral budget and unjust policies that harm the poor, women, children, and workers. Grounded in Micah 6:8 and the prophetic traditions of justice and mercy, we will stand together to say No to oppression and Yes to love, justice, and the sacred dignity of all. Sign up now and declare: “We will not be silent anymore.”
