RAWtools Blacksmiths, woodworkers, and makers across the country working 1 minute for every life lost to gun violence last year.
An update from RAWTools:
“We reached our goal of working 1 minute in June for every life lost to gun violence last year. Over 40,000 minutes from blacksmiths, woodworkers, and artists across the country in our RAWMaker network. Gun violence is still the leading cause of death for age 18 and under. This year focused on kids. We wrapped up with kids working with sections of wood and plastic that we can’t make into garden tools. They used the pieces to imagine something that brings them joy. In a world of violence that can seem inescapable, #MakeForPeace.”
